The hull is individually timber planked above the waterline and copper sheathed below it; the deck cannon and anchors are metal castings; the standing rigging hull ties are real chain. The detail is incredible. Her keel rests on solid turned brass uprights, these are mounted on a base made from Oak and Copper recovered from the actual HMS Victory during refit. This model is handmade and limited in quantity to 821 (the number of crew aboard at Trafalgar), with its place in the series pyrographed (burnt) into the oak.
